Partial name stamped as "....& Walton". Axe is made in Philadelphia, PA.
Here's some backround on the maker Lloyd, Supplee & Walton : 1867- 1889. After returning to Philadelphia in 1867, W. Lloyd and W. Supplee purchased the firm of Conrad & Walton an already established hardware company. The new firm was named Lloyd, Supplee & Walton.
Beautiful bent handle with great patina. Head is tight on handle, with wedge. Axe head is in excellent condition (see photos).
This beautiful axe would make a great wall hanger. Decorate your man cave, business or just take it home to admire the craftsmanship of this historical piece.
I would consider this a rare axe as I have not seen any available from this maker.
