Little Nook Village Home Sweet Home Mouse Family by Leonardo Vintage Wood Base For Sale

Oh my word the cuteness overload on this beautiful figurine. This is by Leonardo. That is the artist who designed and created this gorgeous and cute scene and it is called \"Home Sweet Home\" It is ceramic and on a wood base with a brass placard that clearly gives this information. It is #LN10 from the Little Nook Series and is from 1989. The people that marketed the figurine was Lesser and Pavey Limited but it was licensed by Heritage Mint. The lack of any tags telling me it was made here, there or anywhere means it was most likely made here in the USA. However, there may be a tag that was lost to time saying otherwise so don\'t quote me on that part.
Now about the scene unfolding that we have here. This is a cute family of mice being every so human in there little mouse living room. Dad is on the steps polishing his shoes, while mom is in the rocking chair catching up on some knitting. Upstairs peeping over the railing are two little mice children - a boy and a girl who are spying on mom and dad when they are most likely supposed to be getting ready for bed. The detail on this figurine is astounding from the bow on the back of the little girl\'s dress to the grain in the wood on the stairs, not a detail was missed. Under the stair case is a nook where there is a little counter that has some flowers on it in a vase and on the wall behind mom in her rocker is a picture on the wall. There are scissors in the sewing basket and check out the little boy mouse\'s teddy bear dangling from between the railing spindles where he is peeking down from above.
This is such a cute figurine and perfect for those who are mouse lovers or just think little animals are cute. It is 6\" wide by 5\" high. Best of all you have stuff to see from every single angle.
There is a felt bottom with a sticker with details on it as well. Sticker has some marker scribble on it but that is the only flaw on the entire piece. And there are lots of ears and things that I had to check over. But didn\'t find anything which is awesome.
