The front features a color portrait of Lawrence Welk with his signature and his characteristic “Musically Yours” inscription prominently written in blue ink.
What makes this example particularly interesting is the full-color photograph printed on the reverse, showing Lawrence Welk surrounded by the orchestra, singers, and musicians from The Lawrence Welk Show. The lower portion provides printed identification of many of the musicians, including members of the reeds, trombones, strings, rhythm and trumpet sections.
The reverse identifies performers and musicians including Dick Dale, Henry Cuesta, Bob Ballard, Bob Ralston, George Cates, Bob Havens, Barney Liddell, Charlotte Harris, Joe Livoti, Myron Floren, Jack Imel, Paul Humphrey, Neil LeVang, Dick Maloof, Johnny Zell, Mickey McMahon, Laroon Holt, Charlie Parlato, Larry Hooper and Curt Ramsey, among others.
A particularly attractive piece of Lawrence Welk Show memorabilia since it combines a large signed portrait with a detailed full-ensemble photograph on the reverse.
