Urn-shaped silver container holds an inner tube that pulls out the bottom. The decorative terminal piece, or counterweight, seems to possibly be an incorporated opium-related spoon, but I cannot be sure. AI has determined that it mightbe. It does seem to have a residue in it. AI has determined that it is from China and has ruled out other possibilities.
No additional tools on the piece, and no markings, which was not uncommon, but it does not indicate .925, so I tested it with acid. It tests positive for silver (see photo).
Because I have not had it officially appraised but have tested it myself the best I can, I\'m pricing it low on sale.
