None like these! A *large* pair of rare, vintage, porcelain rabbit figurines (sculptures) made in Japan. Look to be hand painted with glossy glazed finish. Rabbits are brown in color with some soft blue-green and pink-red accents. One rabbit is in a resting pose and the other is standing on hind legs. Purchased from a collector in Canada decades ago. It's likely this pair was made in Japan after the Occupied Japan period (post 1952). Similar to porcelains manufactured by Hutschenreuther (Germany), Rosenthal (Germany), and Royal Copenhagen (Denmark). If you are a rabbit collector, don't miss out. You won't see more like these.

Excellent condition! They are terrific. Slight roughness on the ear of the taller rabbit looks original to production (under glaze), as are a few other tiny imperfections on both rabbits. No chips or crazing noted. From smoke free home.
