Antique Victorian Circus Horses Die Cut Scraps 1880s Chromolithograph Pair
Beautiful pair of original antique Victorian die-cut chromolithographs, dating to approximately the 1880s–1890s, featuring performing circus horses.
The first illustration features two horses balancing on a colorful barrel and ball, while the second shows two horses performing on a seesaw.
Both pieces feature wonderful lithographic detail, rich colors, and beautifully illustrated horses. Each measures approximately 7 inches across.
These are lovely examples of 19th-century Victorian paper art, with appeal to collectors of antique circus memorabilia, equestrian ephemera, and Victorian scraps.
Both display very nicely with some expected age-related wear and discoloration. Please review all photographs, including the reverses, as they are part of the description.
Two original antique die-cuts are included in this lot.
