This is pre WW1, when manganese was used as a clarifying agent in glass, over the years UV light causes it to develop a purple tint
This is a large 12” tall vase and very heavy (6lb)
Is just a wonderful find full of history. Also is just beautiful with etching along the body of the vase and a wide decorative border along the top. There is no damage, no chips or cracks
