Large 22"Antique Whale Vertebra Fossil Bone
WhaleBoneVertebra
I inherited, this stunning original “WhaleVertebra Bone”
As I recall this story correctly, it was around 1970. A friend of mine who lived in California on the beach, went on his morning walk. Like he does every day. They had a big storm the day before, and all kinds of debris was flushed towards the shore. Now this was different, then just debris. There was a massive Humpback Whale dead, laying on the beach. That's where he got the Vertebra from.
I didn't ask him any details, about that. But that what he told me on a previous conversation. Years before I inherited, theWhaleVertebra Bone.
See picture: measuring an impressive 22 inches white and 15 inches high.
The size of a humpback whale is a massive 36 to 49 feet!
The weight ranges from 25 to 44 tons!
It is a beautiful and rail art effect. It had a prominent spot in our house. I am retiring and downsizing, and I'm ready to pass it on to somebody else who will appreciate it as much as I did, enjoy.
