Lot of two 5\" x 7\" photographs byJ. H. Lewis, 165 E. 54th St., New York City. This was the address of the Lewis Historical Publishing Company. They were prominent publishers of local histories, family genealogies and biographical records during the late 19th century and early 20th century.
These photosappear to have the same two Conductors for both the Larchmont NY Trolley and Greenwich CT \"Summer Car\" Trolley. This area was connected by the New York and Stamford Railway, an early 20th century streetcar line that linked Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Rye, Port Chester and Greenwich.
These photos are adhered/ pasted to cardboard. Please note multiple stains on the Greenwich CT Summer Car Trolley photo, corner and edgewear on boards. Please examine carefully for condition details.
