"La Marca Corneta" Machete, No.127H with a very ornate tooled leather sheath.

These machetes were made by La Marca in El Salvador.

We have discovered that the La Marca company was started by a German company back in the early 1960s, and they marked their blades "Solingen".

Other websites show this type of item for up to $1200.

Imacasa is a company/manufacturer located in Santa Ana, El Salvador. The unknown signature is Gebr (short for Gebrüder) Weyersberg (it's a company), and under that is Solingen which is in Germany (and where Gebr Weyersberg was located).

Gebr founded Imacasa in 1964,

As for Corneta, that's a bit more murky. It's a brand that was owned by Gebr Weyersberg, and I presume Imacasa (since they founded the company). However Imcasa was sold to local investors from Gebr in 1987 and I have no idea what that means for the Corneta brand (couldn't find any info).

My assumption is that since your stamp carries the Gebr Weyersberg name and references Solingen that it was probably made between 1964 and 1987 when Gebr Weyersberg owned Imacasa.

The 5 inch handle looks to be made from ebony, a very hard wood, and riveted to the full tang of the blade with four brass fasteners. The the working portion of the Panga style blade is approximately 24 inches. The blade has a keen edge, and shows no signs of corrosion.

The sheath is a beautiful tooled stitched leather with a rich brownish red dye. The sheath has what look to be two unadorned nickel silver conchos with two tone decorative braided laces that terminate in colored tassels of brown, green, and blue dyed leather strips.

Keep in mind the shipping price also covers handling fees, packaging materials & time, not just postage.
