This heavy, high-quality dresser box features a deeply cut diamond-point (hobnail) pattern on the body and lid, which catches and refracts light beautifully. The underside showcases a spectacular, crisp 24-point starburst base design.
While unsigned, the exceptional clarity, substantial weight, and precise geometric wheel-cut craftsmanship are highly consistent with late 19th to early 20th-century French production by prestigious makers such as Baccarat or Saint-Louis.

The ornate patterned ormolu metal rim is firmly attached. The rear hinge is strong, secure, and fits flush. The lid opens smoothly and sits squarely on the base when closed. The lock mechanism is present, though the original skeleton key is missing (standard for pieces of this era).
Condition Report:
- Glass: The crystal remains remarkably bright and clear. There are a few small, scuffs, chips and minor "flea bite" roughness along the faceted upper corners and edges of the lid (please see the final close-up photos for exact details), Also 1 small bottom left corner. There are no cracks or structural issues. You can't see these defects unless closely examined, pretty typical of a fragile antique like this. Brass has minor scratches on inner band shown in pics. This is a beautiful piece just trying to explain the issues, it's truly Stunning and It reflects light beautifully.
