ITEM DESCRIPTION–Lasse Skovgaard is a highly celebrated Danish artisan pipe maker recognized as a prominent master of the modern Danish school style. Pipe making runs in his family; he is the son of master pipe maker Benni Jørgensen. He grew up learning from both his father and their close family friend and neighbor, the legendary artisan Teddy Knudsen, eventually sharing a workshop space with him. This Skovgaard large snail shaped pipe has a dynamic take on the Snail shape, and the delicate sandblasting is eye popping! The tobacco chamber is solid and clean. The stem has no bite marks but does show some scratching top and bottom at the lip area. This beauty comes with Skovgaard pipe sleeve.
