Beautiful substantial hand-carved stone relief sculpture depicting a female figure in the Khmer/Cambodian artistic style, likely representing an Apsara or Devata.
The sculpture features an elaborate swept coiffure/headdress, floral earrings, layered ornamental jewelry and finely carved facial features.
The figure is carved in high relief from a thick piece of natural stone with an intentionally rough, irregular back and perimeter.
The stone is separate from the included black display stand. A drilled opening in the bottom of the stone fits over the metal post of the stand.
Measurements of stone: approximately 9 1/8\" tall × 5 1/2\" wide × approximately 2\" maximum depth.
Weight of stone: approximately 9.8 lbs.
Material appears to be sandstone or similar natural stone.
