A matched set of eight late twentieth-century studio pottery coffee mugs by California ceramic artist Joy Imai. Each stoneware mug is hand thrown and signed Imai on the underside, creating a cohesive service with the individual character associated with studio-made ceramics.
The mugs are finished in a warm grey-beige glaze accented by a rust to copper-toned scrolling decorative band.
