This is a beautiful set of a sugar bowl and mocha cups with saucers from the 1929 \"Melon\" mocha service design by Josef Hoffmann. They were purchased in 2004 directly from the Vienna, Austria Augarten Wien, which is the second-oldest porcelain manufactory, established in 1718. They are hand made and hand painted, with a stunning black and white Art Deco style. I have the original box, receipt and other brochures and papers that I will include. They do not appear to have ever been used and are in pristine condition, with no flaws seen. Augarten porcelain is world famous for its quality and extremely high lasting value. Like most of Josef Hoffmann pieces, they are often treated like pieces of art for display.
