Rare Antique Argentor Jugendstil Gold Gilded Josef Hoffmann Inspired Vase For Sale

An exceptional antique vase produced by Argentor. Piece appears to have been originally constructed from silver metal, possibly plated brass, with gold-gilding later applied throughout. Base features ornament typical of Jugendstil, with a square grill detailing on the front, back, and handle inspired by Josef Hoffman's influential glitterwerk designs. Original argentor stamp still visible on left. Piece is overall in very good useable condition considering its age and accepting the gilt application.
