Bring Scandinavian mid-century character to your wall with this vintage Jie Gantofta Virgo Zodiac ceramic wall plaque #789/2, designed by Finnish-born ceramic designer Aimo Nietosvuori and produced in Gantofta, Sweden, circa 1970s. The rectangular pottery tile features a richly glazed blue finish with a raised relief portrait of the Virgo maiden surrounded by stylized flowers, foliage, and the Virgo zodiac symbol, combining Scandinavian folk-art influence with distinctive retro astrology decor. The reverse is marked Jungfrun, Virgo, Jungfrau, identifying Virgo in Swedish, English/Latin usage, and German, and retains its Swedish-language horoscope label for August 23–September 22 along with the original wire hanger.
