Jay Rogers Handmade Wooden Rectangular Lidded Trinket Box, Brown, 1999 For Sale

This specific model is known as the\"Layers\" box from his studio collection. It is a long, modern rectangular container engineered with a unique recessed, two-part lid system. The top layer (the darker ebony accent strip) slides completely off horizontally, allowing the beautifully textured lower wooden panel to be lifted out to access the interior. Lined with a high-end, protective raw silk velvet lining. Signed 1999 and dated by the artist. The signature \"JAY ROGERS 99\" is consistent with an authentic studio signature by the late American studio craft artisan and woodworker Jay Rogers. The \"99\" indicates the year 1999, which places the box right in the prime era of his active career as a dedicated, full-time studio box maker. #Signed Studio Art #Art Studio Woodwork #Artisan Trinket/Stash Box #Sculpture Box #Organic Modern.
