This is a rectangular wooden box with a hinged lid, featuring lithograph artwork by Fra Filippo Lippi. The artwork depicts Modonna holding Jesus, and flanked by two angels in an Early Renaissance style. The title of this work of art " with The Child and Two Angels". The art is signed by the artist who was born in 1406 and lived until 1469. He was an Early Renaissance style Italian painter and a Carmelite priest. The box is made of cherry and walnut wood, painted in brown and gold, and measures 9.5" in length, 7" in width, and 2.25" in height. It weighs 13.2 oz and was manufactured in France during the Edwardian era (1901-1910). The box is suitable for all occasions and any room, and is an original piece from 1900-1919.(maybe earlier)
