This Forster Police lamp is an extremely rare example from the Isle Of Ely Constabulary. A long since amalgamated Police force.The front badge plate shows the King\'s Crown.The lamp has been well used but is intact.The Green and Red sliders are present and move up and down.There is some corrosion to the inside of the bottom battery cover, this is where water naturally collected. The cover is still solid and the corrosion has not penetrated very far from the inside.There is a bulb in the main lamp with a spare, plus a cotton strap, fitted inside the top cover.
The enamel on the button hole badge is intact, the badge has not been cleaned. It carries the mark of the famous manufacturer JR Gaunt of London.Both of these items are highly sought after due to their rarity and will make great additions to any collection
