I’m the original owner of this fabulous piece, not only that I’ve got champagne, water. and wine goblets, more trays, coffee pot, sugar, creamer more trays… Bought all this in the early 1970s from Hudson’s a former very respected department store in the Midwest.
This tray is the ultimate in classic, and yet trending gold, real 24 karat gold electro plated. This tray is 25 inches long from handle to handle 15 inches wide and it’s footed. All of these pieces have been loved and taken care of meticulously. It’s a bit of work to keep them nice, but it’s worth it. You cannot use any harsh chemicals, simply warm water, a little soap, and make sure you dry them well.
As you can see in the photos, this was made by the international silver company, but also was made for or by another company in the United States named Webster and Wilcox very famous. I believe a Connecticut company.
As I mentioned earlier, these have to be treated like the precious items that they are and as you can see in the photos, although this trau is almost over 50 years old, it’s in good shape. There’s a little scratch here and there and a slight discoloration in a small area, so slight I couldn’t even capture it in the photos. You may notice that the color looks different in the photos - because I took the photo with or without the flash, so as to capture all the details. In person it is a rich gold color.
Please view all the photos they’ll tell you more than I can, and if you want to be that classic elegant hostess with the mostest this tray will make your tablescape spectacular.
Please view all the photos if you have any questions contact me. I’ll be happy to help. Check my store because I’m going to be listing all the other items separately of course if you like any of the others, and you want to somehow bundle the sale, be my guest. I’ll be happy to oblige…
