New old stock the box is not in perfect condition. Definitely has some tears and rips the glasses in excellent condition. The silver plated lid and frame do have some patina from age, but I believe it can be cleaned up with silver cleaner. I have not tried dishes are in new condition. I believe this was probably given as a wedding gift and then never used. Please feel free to ask any questions before offerding thank you.
