An incredibly unique, historically significant Cold War U.S. Navy Helicopter Aviation grouping, beautifully presented and labeled inside a 12" x 16" Riker display case. This entire display is being sold together as a single lot, exactly as shown. The collection honors the specialized career of U.S. Navy Officer Gerard E. "Jerry" Barry. Officer Barry served in the pioneering days of naval rotary flight, operating with Helicopter Utility Squadron Two (HU-2 "Fleet Angels") and Helicopter Combat Support Squadron Four (HC-4 Det. 1). Later in his career, he served in highly sensitive roles, including work with the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) and as an official Aircraft Accident Investigator.Grouping Features:Rare ONI Tag: Highly unique metal tag stamped "Office of Naval Intelligence - Gerard E. Condition: The entire display is in excellent vintage condition. The patches show wonderful period construction, the brass plates have a warm, natural patina, and the lettering remains perfectly legible. Everything is secured inside a clean 12"x16" Riker display mount, which is included with your purchase.
