Vintage French postcard showing Le Mont des Oiseaux at Hyères (Var), France, identified on the reverse as the “Maison de Repos des Officiers” - Officers’ Rest Home.
The large institutional complex is pictured among the wooded hills outside Hyères. Mont des Oiseaux was associated with the Société Française de Secours aux Blessés Militaires and served in the care and convalescence of French military officers.
