35580 - THE HUMMEL MUSEUM - New Braunfels, Texas. The Hummel Museum houses over 300 original paintings and drawings of the late Sister M. I. Hummel, as well as artifacts from her life. The world famous Hummel figurines are created from her inspired art.


‘Maria Innocentia Hummel OSF (born Berta Hummel; 21 May 1909 – 6 November 1946) was a German religious sister of the Third Order of St. Francis and an artist. She is noted for her paintings which were the basis for Hummel figurines.” - Wikipedia
