Large estate collection of vintage buttons weighing approximately 5 pounds total. Includes a wide variety of sizes, colors, styles, and materials, including glass, metal, plastic, shell/mother-of-pearl, rhinestone, and decorative buttons.
The lot includes ornate floral and geometric designs, novelty buttons, matching sets, and buttons on original vintage cards. Some appear to be Victorian and Edwardian, although individual ages and materials have not been verified. There are also lots of regular buttons, too.
Many buttons are still strung together in groups. I quickly pulled about 1 pound of the more decorative buttons and photographed individually, but there may be more in the larger tin!
