A superior collection of four (4) hand crafted (stored/displayed only) Hotsherd (Sante Fe New Mexico) substantial clay pottery art plates. Two plates are ivory-white glazed featuring the “Kokopelli” double-image design of the humpback flute player in black paint with matching black painted rim. Two plates are ivory-white glazed in the “Mancos” (black on white) design featuring a center image of a right foot print surrounded by cross hatche, curved ladder-style images. These design styles are simply and boldly executed, offering a modern, artistic interpretation of ancient Southwestern pottery (meant to evoke the spirit and aesthetic of the Ancestral Puebloan or, Anasazi people.)
