A SYMBOL OF ANCIENT GREECE
In ancient Greece, herms were sacred stone pillars traditionally crowned with the head of Hermes. They stood beside roads, at crossroads, near marketplaces, and at the entrances to homes.
As the divine protector of travelers, merchants, and those crossing boundaries, Hermes occupied an important place in everyday Greek religious life.
This modern reproduction captures the distinctive appearance of these ancient monuments while remaining compact enough for a bookshelf, desk, or household altar.
HANDCRAFTED AND INDIVIDUALLY FINISHED
Each statue is cast and finished by hand, rather than mass-produced in plastic. The antiqued surface is carefully worked to evoke the appearance of weathered stone, while the metallic detailing provides a subtle decorative accent.
Because each piece is individually finished, slight variations in color and antiquing are natural.
