• Monte Cristo is Stem #3411 in Heisey's clear optic line, produced circa 1930–1940 and long discontinued

• The raspberry-textured knop on the stem is a hobnail prunt, a technique borrowed from English and Continental glass traditions

• Heisey glass is hand-blown at the bowl with a pressed stem, typical of the company's elegant glass era before the Newark, Ohio factory closed in 1957
