This book was given as a Christmas gift in 1876 to a friend. Its original accompanying note is glued inside the book on the reverse front cover. She writes \"Mrs. S.V. White. From her affectionate friend. H.B. Stowe, Christmas 1876.\"
Very good condition for its age. A few folds and light creases to the signed page. Some dried glue from being affixed into the book. Front free end page carries a previous owners bookplate and has two small tears on its right border. First fly page with an inscription in pencil.
Footsteps of the Master is a collection of essays and reflections on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Stowe, a devout Christian, drew inspiration from her faith and her personal experiences to write this book.
