Below, a curious gathering of little Halloween goblins prepares for an evening of tricks and treats. But will they dare approach those mysterious houses? This one-of-a-kind Halloween wreath is entirely handcrafted in my studio, inspired by the wonderful German Halloween decorations and candy containers of the early 20th century. What makes this wreath especially unique are the little characters themselves. Each little goblin is individually hand-molded from an original antique German candy container in my personal collection. Every figure is then hand-poured and carefully hand-painted, capturing the whimsical expressions, personality, and old-world charm of these treasured originals.A Note About My ReproductionsMy intention in recreating these wonderful old characters is not to deceive anyone into believing they are purchasing antiques. Quite the opposite! I have great respect for the original German artisans and the remarkable decorations they created. While I use my antique candy containers as the inspiration and molds for these figures, I deliberately incorporate my own recognizable signature style into each piece. This ensures that my creations remain distinguishable from the originals. My goal is to celebrate and preserve the charm of these early Halloween treasures while creating something entirely new for today’s collectors.About the WreathThe miniature Halloween gathering is nestled within a richly decorated wreath of shimmering vintage hard to find gold-foil leaves, colorful autumn foliage, acorns, and harvest embellishments.A moonlit village of mysterious old houses provides the backdrop, while tiny battery-operated lights cast a warm, enchanting glow throughout the scene.Created in the tradition of my original antique-inspired die-cut wreaths, this piece combines German Halloween folk art, vintage charm, and the craftsmanship of an individually handmade decoration. Please Note: The original antique German candy containers used to create these figures are part of my private collection and are not included in the sale.
