Original vintage Halley’s Comet – Australia ’86 souvenir flag, produced to commemorate the return of Halley’s Comet in 1986.Features a fantastic colourful retro illustration of Halley’s Comet against a deep blue starry background, with “Halley’s Comet – Australia ’86” printed beneath.The fabric flag remains attached to its original wooden stick with white finial.A wonderfully nostalgic piece of 1980s Australian space and astronomy memorabilia, produced during the enormous public interest surrounding Halley’s Comet and its return to the inner Solar System in 1986.Vintage pre-owned condition with some light age-related marks, creasing and minor fraying/wear to the fabric edges as pictured.
