Double Terminated approx 18.5+ Carat (3.7G) Approx 14mm x 11mm (see pics) absolutely a monster and very gemmy with the majority of the largest crystal face being very clean for the species with great transparency. Incredible fine "Gooseberry" Red color and high luster with glassy faces, excellent edges and only some minor to moderate rhyolite on the back side just like every other one because of how they form in Rhyolite veins. Very very very very very very very rare! This crystal is nearly priceless because it's just pure unobtanium but we had to put a price on it and it's priced to sell very reasonably for what it is.
There may only be a handful left in the entire world uncut like this, they are seldom this chunky and there's no doubt if one was inclined to do so you could cut a very large top color gemstone out of this crystal specimen. Red Beryl, from the Ruby Violet Claims, Wah Wah Mountains, UTAH, USA.
