Vintage Griswold #8 "All-In-One" Dinner Skillet — Pattern 1008
This is a hard to find, highly collectible and incredibly rare piece of American culinary history: an authentic Griswold #8 Cast Iron "All-In-One" Dinner Skillet (Pattern No. 1008). Manufactured in Erie, Pennsylvania, during the early 1930s (circa 1931–1932), this unique pan features the iconic Large Block Logo (LBL) inside the classic cross and double circle.
Designed during the Great Depression to save fuel, this skillet features integrated cast-iron walls inside to cook a protein and two sides simultaneously over a single burner. This particular variant bears the hard-to-find "PATENT APPLIED FOR" stamping, marking the transition to the permanent, cast-in divider design.
