ITEM DESCRIPTION

This Pair of H.C. Fry Foval Opaline Glass Delft Blue Cup & Saucer Sets is in very good antique condition with no cracks or repairs. NOTE: there are some light scratches on the saucers. Each delicate cup measures 2 1/8 inches tall and is accompanied by its matching saucer. Crafted in H.C. Fry\'s beautiful Delft Blue opaline glass, the cups feature luminous translucent bodies accented by rich cobalt blue applied handles, while the matching saucers display the same soft opalescent finish. Produced during the 1920s as part of the highly desirable Foval line, these elegant sets exemplify the graceful styling and exceptional craftsmanship that have made Fry glass a favorite among collectors of early American art glass. A beautiful matched pair, perfect for display or to complement a Foval table service.

PATTERN & DESIGN

Introduced during the early 1920s, H.C. Fry\'s Foval line became one of the company\'s most celebrated art glass collections, admired for its elegant forms and luminous opaline colors. The Delft Blue variation is especially sought after for its soft translucent body contrasted by vivid cobalt blue accents. Complete cup and saucer sets are becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly in matched pairs, making them highly desirable additions to collections of American art glass and antique tableware.

 

 The cups measure 2 1/8\" High x 3 1/4\" Wide rim to rim and the saucers are 5 1/2\" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of these Sets.
