A gorgeous find in antique vintage French silk.
Sublime luminous silk damask/brocade /jacquard in a beautiful pink & soft green with gold combination. Close to a raspberry pink.
A bit difficult to capture this color fully as it wants to reflect light. Photo 1 seems best to me on my monitor but again can change slightly with the light.
Literally stunning & excellent quality. Definitely a high end textile of its period.
A lovely find from the Normandy area of France. This & a few others I’ll be listing were left over textile lengths from a chateau renovation in this area. All gorgeous textiles.
This is in the 1920’s to 40’s or so range.
Thrilled to have sourced this. These are so difficult to find especially in this condition.
The fabric itself looks unused but does have one raw edge & the other is seamed under. So may have been a salvaged textile originally. Its in very good condition. Was folded tightly to ship to me so will need a fresh press or steam.
***Measures~ 40” wide & sold by the yard (36” long)
I will keep uncut for multiples over 1 purchased.
***please note, the seamed side does offer more fabric. About 5” additional across & under which make up that wide seam.
Within the 40” width there are 3 urn repeats which go across.
Perfect for anything from curtains to decorative upholstery, cushions etc..Anything will be stunning on this.
