I found this very nice 10.5” diameter Goodland formation oxytropidoceras ammonite in 2025 near Lake Benbrook in a popular creek called Mustang Creek. This beauty comes with a stand.
I prepped this ammonite using air tools to remove excess matrix and clean between each and every rib (the lines that run across the ammonite).

This ammonite broke near the end, but my repair is almost not visible at all from the display side. A crack is visible on the backside. I used crushed limestone from the ammonites own matrix mixed with glue to fill the crack. I also initially used superglue before the rock/glue mixture to ensure the integrity of the ammonite. It’s solid and would only break if dropped.
