Offered today is a lovely quilt which has been entirely hand pieced and appliqued' with tiny quilting executed at 10-11 SPI throughout the quilt. Wonderful quilting patterns appear throughout the quilt and may have been executed by only one quilter. The fabrics are all cotton of high quality and still retain some of the original sizing. The colors are rich and show little or no color loss anywhere. I believe that the quilt has never been washed as it retains a crisp feeling with rich colors. The condition is excellent and it appears to have seen little or no use. There are faint age spots on the surface consistent with a quilt over of 100 years plus. To find an antique quilt of exceptional quality in seemingly unused condition is a treasure to own.
