Glamour SWANK 1930's Funeral Parlor Fern & Floral Vintage Barkcloth Faille Fabrc For Sale

This offering is for ONE very gorgeous former mostly unused if ever used deconstructed drapery panel...it is unwashed and presents as pretty much unused...the only reason I know it was a drapery is there are some old thread stitches from the top hem. I'm calling it "funeral parlor chic"...I just see what I see...what can I say...I have been in old funeral homes and back in the day they had the most beautiful wicker display stands for floral arrangements...it was really sweet and beautiful...and this fabric reminds me of just that...the stories from my mom who played hide and go seek in the coffins at a her best friends parents funeral home in Asbury Park Nj. I think we need to bring back funeral chic :) A lovely rayon cotton mix of barkcloth that is called "Faille" and has a sort of glammy swank-mess to it...a weft to kill for...a ivory white ground with fern greens...varied limes...jadeites...pinky pinks...magenta merlot...banana yellow...dove gray...sky blue and periwinkle blue...with black accents. Signed "Guaranteed to be Vat Prints". Perfect for DIY pillows and upholstery...or fashioned back into a drapery. Whatever you choose. Measures 48 inches wide x 80 inches long...the side selvedge doesn't have hem lines...so it really could pass for unused old stock. Flawless.
