Vintage Gillinder & Sons Maple Leaf Vaseline Glass 3-Toed Sauce Dish EAPG
These Vaseline colored glass dishes which feature a maple leave on a tree stem were first manufactured in 1885. The stem is the handle of the dish. The intricate design and coloring make these pieces highly collectible. They have a sensational glow under a blacklight!
They measure 5 1/2\" x 5 1/8\", 1 1/2\" tall and weigh 4.2 ounces. The seam on the underside is rough to the touch. I believe this is from the factory, as every piece I\'ve seen has the same issue. I tried to show it as best as possible. There are air bubbles in some of the pieces (again from the factory).
Almost every item I sell is used and may have some wear from age. I try my best to accurately describe the item. This piece is both functional and ornamental.
As they are part of the description, please view all photographs to better ascertain details and condition. Thanks for looking and please check out the other items we have in our store!
