This EAPG frosted pickle/marmalade jar manufactured by Gillander & Sons of Philadelphia PA in 1877. Featuring Gillander\'s iconic frosted embossed lion base and frosted lion finial on the lid. The body of the jar is clear pressed glass. The rim of the cover has a twisted scalloped edge. The bottom of the jar has frosted lions resting. The glass is clear except for the frosted lions. It is 9\" h x 5\" w. I cannot see any utensil marks. There is a chip on the underside of the lid. You cab find examples of this in Early American Pattern Glass pages 296-299.
