GWYNETH PALTROW RABBI SIMCHA PALTROVITCH ETHICS FATHERS JEWISH POET 1917 NY For Sale

Title: SIMCHAT AVOT (The Joy of the Fathers),Simcha Paltrovitch, NY ,1917, 326+23 pages.
This book written by Rabbi Paltrovitch contains novella\'s on the ETHICS OF THE FATHERS. Most of the book is in Hebrew, the language of the Prophets; but there\'s also a 23 page English section as well. The author was a highly skilled poet as attested by the fact that he wrote in the introduction of the book 2 poems; one with his name being spelled out on the first letter of every line. The other poem spells out the Aleph Bet (the Hebrew ABC) and ends with a hope and prayer for the rebuilding of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. The author I believe was the grandfather of Gyneth Paltrow\'s father, who came from a long line of Rabbi\'s.
