GREAT ANTIQUE 1952 PHILCO 52-944 AM/FM TUBE RADIO Restored. Working well. Brown Bakelite cabinet-No cracks. Works well. This radio sounds great and has excellent reception.Condition is Used. Restored, aligned, capacitors replaced. Tubes checked/replaced. This AM/FM radio has seen the days and is still in action. It's a great old radio. The Brass and Marbled rich brown cabinet is a nice show piece. Tuning works well as do the volume and band switch. Tunes the full AM and FM band. It does need an external FM dipole antenna to receive FM stations well--Included (connect to terminals 1,2 on the back as shown in the picture). 12.25 x 7.5 x 7.5 inches
Differences in the picture color are because I wanted to show the marbling grain. The darker pictures are more representative of the true tone of the brown cabinet.Old radios are sold as is without any guarantee due to their age.
