Fulton MX-991/U USGI Angle Head Flashlight US Military GI Issue D-Cell For Sale

The Fulton MX-991/U is the angle head flashlight that has ridden on US web belts and lived in vehicle kits for decades - the military's standard right angle light, molded in olive drab and built to government specification. Its L-shaped body sets the head at 90 degrees to the handle, so the beam points forward while the light hangs flat against your chest, clips to your gear, or stands on its tail on the ground. Both hands stay free while you work, and the low-reflectivity OD housing keeps the light from standing out in the field.

Everything about the MX-991/U is simple and field-serviceable. It runs on standard D-cell batteries loaded through the screw-off tail cap, so you can feed it anywhere. Red, white and blue snap-in lens filters swap in behind the head for signaling, map reading, or light discipline. A sprung metal belt clip and a hanging ring let you carry it on webbing or hang it overhead, and the raised rib over the thumb switch keeps it from turning on inside a pack. Cataloged under NSN 6230-00-264-8261 and produced in the USA by Fulton, this is genuine GI kit - equally at home in a field pack, a truck kit, a toolbox, a reenactor's loadout or a collector's display. Add the real MX-991/U to your gear and carry the same light the services have trusted for generations.

• RIGHT-ANGLE BEAM, BOTH HANDS FREE - The head sits at 90 degrees to the handle, so the light points forward while the olive drab body hangs flat against your chest, pack or belt, or stands on its base on the ground.
• GENUINE GI ISSUE - The standard US military angle head light, cataloged under NSN 6230-00-264-8261 and built by Fulton to the government's own specification.
• RED, WHITE AND BLUE LENS FILTERS - Three snap-in filters swap in behind the head so you can cut your signature, read a map, or signal without giving away your position.
• CHEAP, COMMON D-CELL POWER - Runs on standard D batteries loaded through the screw-off tail cap, so refills are inexpensive and available at any store.
• CLIPS ON, HANGS UP, WON'T SWITCH ON IN YOUR PACK - A sprung metal belt clip grips a belt or webbing, a ring at the base lets you hang it overhead, and a raised rib shields the thumb switch from accidental activation.
