I list these as Near Mint or Better and sometimes as New because I don’t see how glass sitting in a lighted glassed in display case is getting “ used “ in much of any way ? They are sourced, inspected, and cleaned in warm water with Dawn and a mild tooth brush. Any of them with chips, stains, repairs, or obvious use are in one of five full shoe boxes. At times people have brought them forth in a coffee can where they are kept for the grandchildren to play with. “ Uh yeah, that’s OK we are good - we are all set - thanx anyway !” We have seen a hundred in a can and not one we would sell to you because we have a clue and some integrity to boot. We don’t sell what we would not accept and we are a tad fussy. These are retired and getting harder to find by the day so we respect what we have and take great care in seeing them go on for others to enjoy as we have enjoyed them and as we continue to work with them building sets and coming soon, never before seen, color variation sets ??? Endangered North American Animals Series by Wade, a collectible porcelain figurine set featuring miniatures of endangered animals from North America. Each figurine is made of porcelain and adorned with a gloss - semi-gloss finish. They are mold marked Wade of England or for the Falcon Wade of Eng. Handmade in England between 1998-2002 using poured molds, these figurines are a unique addition to any collection focusing on wildlife conservation.

See the photos as they are part of our description. The last two photos show what I had to do to find the right Polar Bear for this set. Those Bears cover at least 4 diff sets and Whimsies. The Whimsies at 1 and an 8th” tall are in the $20 range while their buddies at 1” tall are $5 or $6. Same for Bison, Hippo and others it’s 1/16” to 1/8” in height can triple or more your money. They are so close my best shot at getting the Whimsies out is to line them up close together so the small changes stick out a bit more. If you don’t have this option then it’s a tape measure or better yet - calipers. You can also read right out of the text from World of Wades about the set. This brings me to the only mistake I ever came across in this book and it’s the Polar Bears length, I think an 1” 1/4 is in one of the descriptions but the only Polar bears I have of the head down variety are 1” 7/8ths. Just shy of 2”. We will be putting a quantity of 20 for this listing and we can do combined shipping. To ship 4 or more sets we will need to upgrade the shipping so the insurance will kick in to cover the cost of 4 or more sets should something go wrong. We have $0 shipping loses to date. Also I’m including in the photos section some differences in paint and gloss finishes. I’m using the turtle as an example. The color ranges from almost no color, or just glazed bisque to dark emerald green and on the bottom row you can see how “ splotchy ,“ for lack of a better word, they can be.
