This gorgeous vintage Fenton Bride\'s Basket features a rich, translucent cranberry cased-glass bowl accented by a beautifully structured optic pattern and Fenton\'s iconic, tightly ruffled White Snow Crest milk glass rim. The bowl rests beautifully in a highly detailed, heavy silver-plated (or quadruple-plated) Victorian-revival caddy frame, complete with a sweeping fixed handle adorned with ornate filigree and elegant feet.
Originally popularized as a traditional premium wedding gift, this centerpiece makes an absolute showstopper on a holiday dining table, a vintage vanity, or tucked safely inside a glassware curio cabinet.
• The cased cranberry glass is vibrant, clear, and bright. Free of chips, cracks, structural flea bites, or mineral cloudiness along the delicate ruffled edges.• The intricate floral/scroll detailing remains crisp. Shows beautiful, authentic vintage character with light, even oxidation/tarnish appropriate for its age. The ornate floral/scroll decorative wing insert is present on one side but is partially missing from the opposite side (see close-up photos). When the glass basket is in the frame is barely noticeable. The handle is structurally rigid and stationary.
The glass bowl/basket was produced in the 1940s - 1950s. The silver-plated frame is likely Victorian-Era (circa 1880–1899) based on the structure, twisted rope arms, spherical accents, and detailed foliate scroll inserts.
