This is a family piece handed down from family. I have described thru research and not familiar with Fenton glass. Thank you.
Fenton “Two Flowers” pattern — akaDogwood and Marsh Lily — was produced by the Fenton Art Glass Companycirca 1915in the USA.
This early carnival glass design features two stylized flowers: a dogwood and a marsh lily, framed by a textured band.
It was made in theClear White Classcolor (which is very rare, sometimes called white carnival) and is typically found in forms such as balled-footed sauce bowls or three-footed fruit bowlsBecause the Fenton logo was not added until 1970, early pieces like this are unsigned and identified by their pattern, color, and glass characteristics.
The “Two Flowers” pattern is considered a classic example of Fenton’s early carnival glass work, inspired by the iridescent glass styles of Tiffany and Steuben.
The design is also sometimes referred to as Dogwood and Lily in collector references, but the original maker’s name and date remain the same:Fenton, circa 1915.
