Fantastic condition with only normal wear from use. Looks like this may have been a letter opener or something like that. This is a recent find and I’m not much of a knife guy but I knew this one was special the moment I held it in my hands. I would describe the condition as excellent, but you be the judge for yourself by the pictures. Real stag horn handle.
I found out this is a highly collectible knife and that the first 1200 made were numbered and that this one was from the regular production line after the introduction. As I understand it, that first run I mentioned was in the late 1970s and this was made in the early 1980s.
The blade is 5 inches long and made of Japanese surgical steel. It’s quite substantial.
