Here Is a Beautiful 111.5 ct. Rare Fluorescent North Carolina Sphalerite in Barite Designer Round Cabochon.
The material this Rare Cabochon came out of, came out of an old collection from the 1950\'s and I can\'t find these for sale anywhere else. I\'ve looked all over.
These were mined from an unknown mine before the 1950\'s near Hot Springs, North Carolina.
We have a small amount of these and not many of this quality with this amount of Fluorescent Coverage and decided to make some cabochons with some of the rough.
If you like Bright Fluorescent Specimens, then you will love the Intense Glow of these. It is some of the brightest UV Minerals I\'ve seen.
These will Glow and Look like Lava with a Long wave UV Light but nowhere as Bright as seen in the Picture\'s that we took with the 365 nm Convoy UV Light.
The 365 nm Convoy UV Light can be found online, and we Recommend it Highly to see these Beautiful Stones to their Full Color Potential.
I have found the Convoy Lights as cheap as $25 with the charger included.
This Cabochon measures 1 1/2 inches long, 1 1/8 inches wide at the widest and 1/4 to just over 1/4 inch thick.
Color Will vary depending on the type of UV light used. We also included pictures under natural lighting.
We Will have a Huge Selection of some of the Finest Fluorescent Minerals, Arkansas Crystals, Minerals and Rare Cabochons.
If you have any questions, then please ask. Thanks for looking.
