This pipe is clearly stamped DON CASSINI, EMERALD - Wide Oval Shank, Forward Cant Dublin Bowl - The Saddle stem makes for a very comfortable morning on the porch with a cup of coffee.The Briar holds a mix of Birdseye & Cross Grain that buffed beautifully. I’ve thoroughly cleaned the briar - the shank & stem airways scrubbed with 99% alcohol and have reamed the chamber. The wide rim looks fantastic with its cross grain on display. I did not observe any cracks or burnout in the chamber. There is one thin long fill on the exterior of the bowl that came out when cleaning the stummel leaving a thin void to the surface. It’s insignificant, I’ve examined it thoroughly and it does not appear to be structural. I di. This pipe is ready to smoke when you receive it, or continue cleaning to your satisfaction.
